Weekly lessons are usually 1 to 2 hours conducted once or twice a week. A good way to learn to drive.

Like with intensive courses your lessons will be well planned to ensure you pass your driving test in the minimum time.

There are two types of intensive driving school courses which consist of 10, 15, 20, 30, 35 and 40 hours This can be conducted over a week, 2 weeks or a longer period of time.

Pass Plus is a great way to improve your driving skills once you have passed your test and you can receive 30% off your car insurance.

It is very important that you Study for your Driving theory test so you understand the rules when you are driving on the roads. You can do this by using a driving theory disc. The Highway Code will also help you pass your driving theory test and your practical driving test it is packed with useful driving information. Once you have passed your Driving test it is a good Idea to keep reading up to date copies of the Driving Highway Code. From time to time new rules and procedures are introduced to Driving on the roads.

The Driving theory test is split into two tests. You will answer 50 Driving theory questions. You will then watch 14 Driving Hazard perception clips 13 have one Driving Hazard and 1 will have 2 driving hazards in the clips. When you take your Driving Theory test you will need both parts of your driving licence. The card and the counter part (paper part). Don’t forget them because you will not be allowed to take your driving theory test.

The practical driving test currently lasts for around 40 mins. Your driving instructor will accompany you to the test centre. You will arrive at the driving test centre around 10 mins before the practical driving test is due to start. You will wait inside the driving test centre for the Driving examiner. The driving examiner will enter the waiting room and call your name out. At this point your details on your driving licence will be checked. Once the Driving examiner has checked your driving licence you will leave the Driving test centre waiting room. The Driving examiner will check your eyesight by asking you to read a number plate. Remember to bring your glasses or contact lenses if you need them for driving. The driving examiner will then ask you to lead the way to your car. You will now be asked the two show me tell me questions.

After the show me tell me questions you will take your position in the Driving seat. The Driving examiner will then explain what is required from a driving test. You will be driving for about 30 to 40 mins. During the driving test you will be required to perform two of the following manoevers, Reverse to the left, Turn in the road, Parallel park, Bay park. You may also be asked to demonstrate the emergency stop.

When you are successful on your driving test the driving examiner will present you with a Driving test pass certificate. You can also hand your provisional driving licence to the driving examiner and they will inform the driving standards agency to issue you with a full car driving licence.

The Driving examiner may also dicuss the Pass Plus scheme. Once you have passed your driving test you can take Pass Plus and save 30% off your car insurance.
